“…, but it’s Peter who loads the burger up with baby spinach leaves and red onion and aioli and a whole bunch of other stuff that somehow totally works”

It just dawned on me that this must be how Lisa Henry likes her burgers. She’s used this same burger combo in, at least, one other DiscontenedWinter story. I must try this.

Meags Could also just be because they’re very common Aussie burger ingredients… at least in my world. Baby spinach and aioli on everything!!! Dems da rulez. 😂

I didn’t even think of that! 🤣🤣. it sounds really yummy. I use baby spinach in place of lettuce quite often, so it’s not a stretch to put it on a burger. I’ve never had true aioli. Uggg! Now I want a hamburger!!

Meags I feel like aioli appeared out of nowhere around a decade ago, and now you can’t read a menu without it being on something. 😂 And yes, I’m hardcore for my spinach. I even have a whole section of my personal recipe book dedicated to spinach type meals lol

Valerie ❈M/M Romance Junkie❈ Well now. I’m a rule follower, so I feel I MUST have a burger with spinach, red onion, and I may stop at my favorite fussy grocery store for garlic aioli. And when my husband complains about the red meat, carbs, and general bad for you vibes… I’m going to tell him that Meags said we had to!! Dems da rulez 🤣😂🤣

Meags …and if you do it, let me know how it goes!

Valerie ❈M/M Romance Junkie❈ Ok. There’s something to be said about my burger. Baby spinach, red onion, tomato, Swiss cheese, and horseradish aioli. The only thing that could make this better is it coming off the charcoal grill. Yummy
