Fraya glowered at her. Jaz was too angry to feel scared though Fraya was an intimidating woman.
“Keep it up, and it's your head that'll be hurting!” Fraya barked.
Jaz smiled. “So you admit it?”
Fraya frowned, confused.
Jaz helped her out. “Your head hurts, huh?”

He could hear her every sob. He felt something break deep inside of him as a single tear escaped his eye.
It was the first time he'd cried in over a year.

Tall, slim, but built, dark eyes, not pretty or boyish, features sharp and strong, shaven head... Hmmm... i'm pretty sure he's not my style. Unless he looks like Vin Diesel. And this book is reeeally confusing.
