Can confirm I feel *really* fucking bad as usual reading this book, but simply can't look away. Enthralled in a sea of bad emotions and loneliness.

I'm really tempted to read this but by the sounds of it it's probably going depress me even more lol

It's sad, and melancholy, and definitely tugs the heart strings. But there's something weirdly romantic and satisfying about how aptly he describes those feelings and what they do to you. It's almost relieving in a way.
I read it the first time 3-4 years ago in one of my definitely worst periods. And I felt it helped? Idk. Sort of less effective the second time around but still a beautiful book.
