It's so funny how the women in these books seem to miss whole conversations. Duncan had a complete meltdown when he realized he had unprotected sex with Portia, and said why. WHY is she completely surprised that he doesn't want children? Something like this happened in the last book too. Like are they sleep walking through whole conversations??
