Yeah, good luck with that. Not gonna happen. On the upside, I didn't feel like the ending was as terrible as others think. I don't think Novik is that kind of author.

I’ve been listening to it for the past three hours 😭😭😭 I really like the narrator of the audiobook.
The second book picked up right where the first left off, making them perfect for bingeing, so I figure I’ll just get the print books right before the third comes out and reread them all at once. Reading them myself should make for a different experience but at the same time, I’ll still hear the narrator’s voice in my head.
Oh, that's perfect. That's how I like to do the Aaronovitch series.
I suddenly feel as though Kobna Holdbrook-Smith’s Peter Grant might be just what I need after El.

But after listening to El wax on about languages I’m really interested about how that would mesh with Grant’s interest in architecture and I want them to meet 😭😭😭
