I refuse to analyze what this says about me but I was enjoying this a lot more when the H was still an unrepentant piece of shit I wanted to toss into a fire 😘🔥🔥
Plus, how can you include a "redemption arc" for an abusive asshole without him being kicked in the balls at least ONCE?! I'm not asking for a lot over here.

@Iru, aww don't say that 😩 honestly at least a punch or two would've been fine too... buuuut I'll see if the grovelling changes my mind.
@ANNA, STOPPPPP. I hate the accuracy 😭😭 also not him acting surprised by the fact she was traumatized by it.
I'm not able to comprehend the fact that you're reading a hetero romance 😆 it's like a once in a lifetime sight, literally mindblown🤯 hope it's worth it in the end, Candyyy!🤣
@Champ, I knowwww, I'm shocked with myself too 🤭 I'm blaming Joey W. Hill for getting me in the mood, the MF I read by her was genuinely one of the best written books I read all year 🥴
It's the first book of her Nature of Desire series! The book itself wasn't extraordinary (more like a 3.5), but the characterization/social commentary/portrayal of bdsm and just the writing itself were all five stars worthy. Also the sex scenes 😳 the woman knows what she's writing.
Firstly, so lovely to see you back after your mini break Candy; hope all is well and I'm sure you'll have your fair shair of bookish insights to fill us in on. After not clocking any sight of you for a litle while, wonderful to see signs of life from you. Secondly, to jump back to your status, you ask for very little my friend, in fact much as these ethically dubious heroes demand our attention I'd like to reserve a bonfire night specifially for them XD

Unfortunately for us his balls were safe and sound throughout the book
