oh, that last update on Pericles....

hmm. Not in the First Folio but in the canon. Mixed. I really liked Act 3, not much act 5. The afterward was interesting in that, (1) is has long excerpts of two sources including John Gower's equivalent of Act V ... which it was far better than anything in the play and (2) apparently it works well on stage (partially because it offers a lot of artistic freedom)

Read Pericles act iv - which is like a completely new and different play, already Pericles has a silent part.
