Interesting idea, but how can it be meaningful without the women? Where are the women authors, the women academics, the women with the photographic memories, the grandmothers? Only men. Clarrise is buried and forgotten by the end. Mildred and her friends are victims, not influential. This book is nothing. It erased all the women. How is that any different from burning books?
