My theory: Vaelin would've to get somehow the power to "defeat death itself". The power that the Ally wants. He would've to make him posses his body, then take control and touch the black stone that at a second touch "takes everything back". Hopefully, defeating the Ally and sending him into oblivion.

But the price. The terrible price. Vaelin...

Poor blind woman. So much she saw in live and not even in death could she rest...

Emperor Aluran trusted you so I also had high hopes (pun intended) in you.

I love how all the characters can be throw into such unexpected situations!
Now Reva and the Shield ended up as slaves after the storm destroyed their ships!

OMG! Vaelin and the wolf people!! I knew they would appear since they were mentioned in the second book!!
Well, i was not totally sure, but it is really nice to see them!!!!
And they have a prophesy about Vaelin. Poor people, they knew his coming would bring hard times for them T.T

I knew Frentis' rebellion was going too smoothly to last forever T_T
