There is a LOT of repetition in this book. We get it Locke: There are all sorts of reasons why the argument that the Bible supports monarchy doesn't make sense. Did you have any other points to make or....?

A lot of repetition in this book, but it is a bit dense, so I suppose that's a good thing. Locke really didn't want anybody to miss his points (so he makes all of them approximately 15x each).

So unlike the last philosopher I delved into (Nietzsche) I'm actually already semi-familiar with Locke. I learned a great deal about him in my political science courses in college AND in my courses on Naturalist literature. I've always thought his ideas were wonderful and it's clear why so much of the American Constitution is based on Lockian ideals.
