Shouldn't Stella be on parole, since she was released from prison before her sentence is up? Isn't alcohol a big no-no for parolees? She drank Aiden's bourbon, now she is at a bar with her new colleagues. Hell, would she even be allowed to leave Pennsylvania or wherever it was her parents live?
