was i completely and utterly tempted to just go ahead and start reading maya's story even though we've just barely interacted with this character 0.5 seconds ago and i have yet to even finish this book? yes..... is that at all straight of me to already be in love with maya despite getting only samples of her? no, it isn't and that's okay (no, it's not.).
