Humility is not getting in a corner and allowing others to walk all over us. It’s about knowing who we are and our role in society. Ultimately, we have to walk in our truth. That truth may call for assertiveness in an uncomfortable situation or restraint. Either situation is an example of humility.

We don't get to choose when we are hospitable—that bites because when we are clear-headed, we never get the chance to show our “real” hospitable side. Here we learn, the right time to be of service to someone is everytime. This one will take a bit of work!
