Even the bonus chapter is a tad disappointing.

Just cause you're telling me how compassionate she is doesn't make me believe it. Most of her scenes and her inner dialog is filled with anger and resentment, I don't see how that exactly translates to her being this kind and beloved.

“I’m not interested in romanticizing Hades for doing something all men should be doing.”
This is possibly th stupidest line in the book. It has zero relevance to men, and completely relevant to gods or just humans.

Somehow I keep finding Persephone and Hades retellings, found Neon Gods earlier this month and that didn't work at all. So hoping this is better.
