Question regarding the quirky-supportive best friends/colleagues/siblings: is "annoying" the only shade they come in?
Seriously. Wolf whistles, high fives, lewd comments, nosing into their uncomfortable colleague's love life, ALL the time- I would seriously hate those people. And they're not smart funny, but plain silly.

Like with the last MJ Duncan book I've read, there are a lot of smiles tugging at lips. And "You are too much, Parker Ravenscroft" has been said three times already. I'm nitpicking, I know.

Definitely okay so far, but: a croissant sandwich?? I'm spending a lot of time in France and have never seen that. My mother would be horrified.
Also, the heist aspect is flimsy background to the romance at best. Didn't expect a full-fledged heist book, but still.
