Long Way Home is appropriately titled. Nearing the halfway mark and Flora is not yet in Montana. That said, her journey offers a fascinating glimpse at the U.S. immigration process, the unique challenges faced by immigrants from China, and the bias that complicated the process even when the traveler in question is an American citizen.
