She can choose to be his wife, even though he made it clear to her she could never be as good as his late wife, or she can… what be abandoned far from home where he has dragged her with no support or way of providing for herself? The heroes in this book have been harsh but at least I believed they cared for the heroines before this story.

Am I supposed to like this hero? He leaves the woman he abducted literally sobbing on the cold ground when she learned her entire family was likely dead. He drags her on a difficult journey when she has be sick the whole time and only paused when she was so feverish she was insensible. He informs her she will marry him, because wtf her husband is likely dead anyway. Are his few kind words meant to make him likable?

The fourth story was not nearly as well written as the others in the collection but it was still enjoyable.

The Knight’s Seduction by Renee Rose is everything I want in an erotic romance story. 🥵 🔥 🌋

The first story was a good one. A little adventure, a fair amount of steam, a besotted hero. Enjoyable.
