I just started. I've read the prologue and I'm at the start of Chapter One. This isn't a comment on the story but an observation. I think that Abbi may be attempting to provide a humanized version of Nan in this book so that we begin to see her in a different light when she gets her own story. I hope that is the case at least. I don't want to hate her or feel as sorry for her as I do.
