This was published in 2013 so that makes sense because her writing now has improved substantially in comparison to this. It's still good, don't get me wrong. But subpar kinda good, if that makes sense idk 😆

honestly it always amazes how authors can improve their writing so much and how noticeable the changes are when you read their back list
