Lots going on, sorry for my absence. I know I have messages from a bunch of you- thanks! Hopefully will be in a place to catch up (& read again!) soon.

I just learned Joan Didion died last week. And I just needed to be in a bookish space to express my sadness. She was more than just one of my all time favorite writers but the kind of writer I have always wished I could be and the reason I fell in love with essays.
