i loved this little moment where they take the time to shed light on the fact tht demi-gods though they might be, these are still children. luke? annabeth? thalia? percy? erick? they are all children that were born from reckless gods. they didn't ask to be thrust into a life of risk and peril that they are forced to prepare for and are not always provided with the necessary support to get them through it.
