I'll probably finish this at work today. While the readers of this audiobook have grown on me, the story hasn't. It always felt thin and when I get to the big reveal/twist I was only exasperated. Compared to the delightful darkness and Southern Gothic homage that is Flynn's incredible first novel Sharp Objects, this one just feels rather dull.

I'm intrigued, but this one is pretty "meh" so far. Sharp Objects was far stronger, and I believe that was her first novel.
