I can't read contemporary without imagining all the ways it could turn paranormal. Like right here is where Mik could wake up and deliver a weird prophecy or vision 😳😩 this EMT stuff is cute too tho lol.

Mind you they have barely interacted yet but the slow burn tension and flashbacks to the past causing conflicted thoughts and feelings? Chef's kiss.

And the setting and supporting characters are simple but charming.
