Idk about other countries I guess but soooooo much of this would NEVER be allowed in an American public library. Talking to a patron about another patron's reading (or even mentioning another patron in any way) is so extremely off the table because it's an atrocious breach of privacy. We will not talk to you about your OWN selections unless you directly ask us for a similar title or something.

This already ripped my heart out, what organ will I lose next?
