It was the rear tire that went flat, but in the next chapter it’s the front tire that is flat. 🙄 I hate inconsistencies.

IMO a flat tire in the rain is no reason to have to stop at a creepy hotel. Change the damn tire and move on! Getting stuck in a snow storm would have been more believable. Especially in northern Vermont.
