For all the crying and weeping in this book, nobody actually seems to feel anything ... Ever.

This is a book where sections begin with sentences such as "Kimberly awoke knowing." Need I say more

Also there is no reason for anything happening. Most of this is coincidence and massive plot holes

Oh good, sexual assault. I'm not sure that the author realized that is what just happened, either which makes this worse. And so gratuitous. Man I am starting to hate this book.

Why are all the women constantly crying every time they hear of something bad that happened like 300 years ago. You didn't know them! It's history! I mean thinking "wow that's rough" is one thing but come on....

Glad the women are always described as beautiful which is basically their only power. Heaven forbid we have to deal with unattractive women.

I swear, if he uses the word "inimically" one more time.....

My disgust is turning to hate

Ugh this was so obviously written by a man. I feel demeaned. And this book is also racist. Mostly undertones, occasionally pretty blatant.
