Omg the horse just hooked its foreleg around the heroine to comfort her. What the actual fuck? Can you say anthropomorphism? Ignore it, ignore it. Go on with the rest of this very nice book.

Loving it except the horse thing. How fast does the author think the horse goes at a”leisurely pace”? They are riding bikes for heaven’s sake. The horse couldn’t keep up even if she wanted to, which she wouldn’t.
