"Hey, don't knock Disney," Harvey protested. "I spent my early childhood submerged in Disney-inspired fantasies. Of course, in my world, the prince moved in with the seven dwarves, & they lived happily ever after. " "What happened to Snow White?" "I dunno. They put her on display & charged admission?" "You were a warped child." "Takes one to know one. What did you fantasize about? " "Football players."

[Gabe] probably should've asked Harvey about it, but relationship talk wasn't his area, and he was afraid of the answer. Maybe if he ignored the whole problem, it would go away.

Gabe: "Are you sure you wouldn't rather stay behind"
Harvey: What, and leave you wandering around unescorted in a land of feral vampires and hot men? I don't think so." "Why do you assume they're hot?" "You are." Yes, let's discuss how hot Gabe is. With all his hulky muscliness. Yummy.

Oh goody! This book is divided into 2 novellas. I like it when Harper does that.

Yeah, so, on the main page of my Kindle I have the Twitter app and Temper Sanguine next to each other. Looks like that blue bird is trying to bite off the model's man nipple. Heh. I'd like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation of the headless man on the cover. Man nipples AND a cardigan? *fans self*

Gabe & Harvey had spent some sexy times in the past pretending to be Jack Bauer & his captive, involving interrogation techniques that would've made Keifer Sutherland blush. Probably rimming. Ol' Keifer does look like much of a rimmer to me.

Harvey: "Let me milk you the old fashioned way. You can be the bovine & I'll be the milkman." At the door, he halted & said in a sex kitten voice, "Coming, baby?" Gabe did. Several times. Harvey proved exceptionally skillful in milking, & there was on human-sourced protein he had absolutely no problem consuming. SPERM!

Harvey still had inheritance money, and Gabe made a decent living working for Augustine, so there was no great urgency for Harvey to go back to work.
I love that although Gabe & Harvey are, respectively, a slayer & a vampire, they still have to consider finances. I mean, is it really possible for every vampire to be a multi millionaire?

A real vampire dressed as Wesley Snipes from Blade. Was that ironic or just lazy? Gabe couldn't decide, but since he was a slayer disguised as a slayer, he didn't have room to criticize. Does anyone else miss Wesley Snipes?

Not a criticism of the book in any way, shape or form. Got it? Ok, has anyone else noticed that Samhain font size is weird? Usually I always set the font at 4, but with Samhain, whatever the book, I have to pump it up to 7, which is still too small but 8 is epically old lady size. Anyone? Anyone? Or is just me? It's just me isn't it! I knew it. *sigh*
