It is getting harder and harder to get through this book. I feel like just as soon as the author starts to let the story unfold and speak for itself , she has to throw in multiple comments by the narrator about how awful everything it going to turn out for Every. Single. Person. It is distracting and makes it difficult to get attached to or even like any of the characters.
