Jeez, I'm struggling with this one. I dislike being negative about any book, but god, this is the most off-key book I've read in recent memory. The pacing is all over the place, the cliches cringe-worthy, and the detective MC, well, let's say, I cringe each time he talks, thinks, and exists on-page. Lord, I'm confused. Am I reading the same book as everyone else?

l hate that. l had to dnf a book today. lt's been quite a while since l've done that. l was disappointed. l hope it turns around for you.

I couldn't finish it. It was awful.
Thank god i'm not alone Miriam, I am putting it in my DNF shelf. smh, how did so many people love it?!

I wish, people whose taste is similar to mine enjoyed this. I hate to say this Miriam but we might just be in the minority with this one. Lol. Maybe we've been spoiled with excellent MM and are now difficult to please hehe. Just wish i could get a refund for this book :( i hate that i paid for the audiobook grr

If you email the audiobook customer service you should be able to get a refund as long as it hasn't been over a year since you bought it. I've done that and haven't had any issues. 🤞🏾
