This is horrible and boring. Considering this book and her last, this author seems to take great pleasure in making characters miserable, but I think most people have a limited interest in that.

This is just so unrelentingly dull. A Little Life was ridiculous tragedy porn (and I loved it, in the moment), but this is emotionless and arid. I may DNF.
