He was right. It was a hell of a lot easier riding a wave on a foam longboard. It wasn't so much like taming a wild animal as doing a long, slow dance. For a moment, I became part of the ocean. I swept in with it, one of the sons of Oceanus, and there weren't even thoughts to think. It was like coming home, in a way, our first home.

Loved the description of being out on the waves at this point in the novel, Ivy.
