Yes Mr. Everett saying mental health is just as important as physical health. Love that for him!

One of the reasons I enjoying reading these books is because it reminds me of thinking every little mistake was the end of the world back then. Now that I’m 22 I can laugh and find Alice cute, but I remember at the time wanting to die after the tiniest embarrassment. Also, I wasn’t kissing boys at 13, but I feel the anxiety of “when am I supposed to kiss him?” 😂

“The weddings off.” 😂 how are they about to break up over a school assignment?? I’ll be honest here, I’m missing annotating. I read these Alice books on basically a library borrowing website, which is nice, because free,but I miss doing my annotations and looking back and on my thoughts and all that. It feels weird to read a book straight through without stopping and processing and adding notes for later.

Alice cracks me up talking about how she did get the reminder cards..... she just didn’t do anything with them. Love that for her. Different times and all, but who trust a 13 year old to keep up with their appointments anyway??

We’re back, baby. I can’t believe I didn’t read an Alice book in 2021, but it was a bad reading year for me. So far 2022 is so much better and I miss Alice, so we’re back!

I originally wanted to finish this before the end of the year, but I’m really not sure if I’m in the mood for an Alice book. I have to figured out what I want to read next
