Getting interesting and pace picking up with plot. Dotty has forgotten a lot about her mother's death. Ruth has had a horrible life thus far, but hoping it gets better at some point.

It's turning quite gnarly with a birthing, but it seems accurate to what would have happened in this time period.

Ruth seems to choose her words very carefully. Tactical and precise - calculated. Dorothea appears to currently have bitten off way more than she wanted or could expect.
