So far I'm really liking it which is rare since i don't like books that are stories with underlying thought i mean come on my favorite writers are Dostoevsky and Kafka, but the writing is superb. It is akin to murakami in the sense that it's such high level simplicity and fine tuned writing that you just don't get fatigued. I can't understand the people who got bored of this book, imo it's very well written.

20 pages in and I'm already on the verge of tears. Back in school i used to have a best friend like Lennie, big and strong, handsome too but not dumb just the furthest thing from academically gifted. I'd routinely get mad at him when we were studying together because he held me back and this book is hitting deep. Anyway this is a well written story worthy of being called magnificent. So far I'm a huge fan
