2: i wouldn’t have bet this would be the book that’d get me laughing out loud but well
3: now i get the TSOA comp and am preparing myself for pain 🥲

i'm really loving this so far. i love that it's more historical fiction than fantasy. loving the writing as well and the way characters come and go. i feel like i've only started but i've actually read a quarter of it already and i'm just really curious to see where the story goes!
