Almost done with my reread, and this book is definitely still not as good a the first one, and for sure sets things up, at this point I think this was the whole purpose of this second book, but I’m okay with that. I feel like we needed this in order to love forward in the story. It’s giving classic fantasy rather than romantasy.

Anyone else feel like Bryce has a completely different personality in this book. One that I absolutely do not like. I really dislike her in this book. A lot.
