I find the language in this book fascinating, cumbersome, and a little bit silly. The author is so careful to say things like "gifted children with ADHD" and to distinguish between autism and Asperger's that it makes me eyeroll a lot. The information is really good, but I have to say that I think most of the tips given (for ADHD at least) would be helpful for ANYONE who has these disorders, not just gifted children.

Reading about learning styles now. It's so weird to see bits and pieces of myself in EVERY SINGLE ONE. WTF, do I not fit in ANYWHERE, even among my own people? ;)

Finished the AS chapter, on to how people's brains work if they're gifted and have one of these disorders. Right now we're looking at ADHD and AS.
