my heart aches so much because my step mom lives near the border. it's so surreal and earth shattering to think something like this is real and happening.

Because this is genocide. Murdering innocent people. Adults and children. Animals. Bombarding schools and hospitals. I have no words to describe how broken-hearted I am right now. How terrifying this situation is. I really hope your stepmom and your family are safe and will remain such. I live in Poland. I have friends from Ukraine, I work with Ukrainians. A lot of them went back to fight for their country.
So I'm praying. For this war to stop. For Ukrainians. For all these innocent people who die because of one lunatic.
