I'm putting this one down.
As someone who went from corporate executive to portrait artist after age 40, I thought reading thus book would be affirming. I'm getting the feeling it won't be.
I don't have a BFA or an MFA, and I don't think I need one. Anyone who creates art is an artist. It's a pity this amazing, accomplished woman went to art school in her 60s and appears still not to have learned that lesson.
