Ok. That first chapter was a little suspect (as in I wasn't sure I would like the book and the writing style). It felt stuffy and prim. Kind of like the guy whose point of view it was. Archibald. What a stuffy and prim name. Then a dark-masked figure comes and burns everyone to death. It isn't until the second chapter that we meet Fatma, and she's actually pretty cool and interesting.
