I loved this book. I lost my father a few months ago and could really relate to Michelle's story. I enjoyed her writing style and her clear verbiage around complex concepts, such as culture, family, and belonging. Having spent several months in Seoul for business, the Seoul parts were certainly vivid for me, I could really imagine her growing up visiting, eating her way through, and connecting with family.
