Nailed—that's me. I like this a lot better than Derailed. The storyline and plotting are more coherent and organised, if a bit predictable.

The thing with Paton's writing is that it takes getting used to, but once you've found your footing, it's a breeze to read and just…takes off. This is more an issue of the heavy Aussie slang usage than the writer's actual skill.
This is definitely not something I can read without the e-reader's handy dictionary. I'm doing a lot of press-hold here.
