I find so much wrong with this. Terra shuts people down. Why? No context. Terra’s own mother doesn’t know her daughter has been in love with Jake her whole life? Why? They don’t have a contentious relationship, and mothers—involved ones like this—tend to know how their kids feel. This makes zero sense.
