1. The prose - with an excellent translation. Even some Hindi books I've read doesn't come close to the language and prose used in this translated work!2. Draupadi's thought process - Before picking, thought it would be very similar to Palace of Illusion, as that's also her POV. But somehow loving it much more than that. I don't know the exact reason.
For sure there is more psychology involved here. For instance after the Swayamvara - the thought process of who takes the blunt was immensely good.
Then the part where she thinks on how to divide her attention among 5 husbands.... parts where her interactions with Karna are described beautifully (Karna and Draupadi have been linked very nicely in multiple interpretations).
Not sure what exactly is so good, but in a nutshell if you love Mahabharata POVs, please do try it out.

Great inputs, this is going straight to my TBR. Palace of Illusions remains one of my favorite books and now I'm intrigued about this one too. thanks !
