Flows and is a light breezy read. Not a personal fan of fantasy races that are portrayed as mono cultures where characters belonging to them get demonised over stereotypes (kind of a tired trope, but esp if the character is described as “swarthy” which also is a word I have issues with). I think there’s some issue of connective tissue between ideas too. Let’s see how this progresses.
