I'm currently reading an arc of this. Why did I get invited to arc review this? I tore Athena Storm's book 'Maid for the Alien Warrior' a new one last year. Maybe it's some kind of automated email system. Idk. Anyway, I'm game, I'll give her books another chance. Hopefully this one doesn't include the very harmful idea that good pussy solves racism

I really don't like how Penny acts when the orc tells her "no." He shows that he is clearly uncomfortable with her getting naked with him, and then after her fever has passed, she continues to walk around him naked, despite his discomfort. She can't take a simple "no" when she comes onto him in the forest. You can't coerce and emotional blackmail your way into sex. That is some Nice Guy TM crap.

Okay first thoughts: there's still a pro-colonization message, which was my biggest issue with the only other Athena Storm book I read. So far it doesn't seem to be as bad as 'Maid for the Alien Warrior' but still...what is up with Athena Storm thinking colonizing is good? It's weird.
Now for the good: the chemistry between the orc and penny is super cute.
I also really like the worldbuilding.
