I don’t like not finishing books but I got into this for the cannibalism, not the Samantha Jones-esque descriptions of sexcapades. Also agree with reviewers that said 1 the author seems to think they’re being more shocking than they are and 2 there are better books I could be reading. It’s not the worst thing ever so maybe I will come back some day, with a better idea of what I’m getting into.

Also I mean the way the sexcapades are written sounds like Samantha Jones is narrating. Not opposed to sexcapades in general. Or even opposed to Samantha Jones in general. I just wanted more eating people. 😭
