currently almost halfway through and this has BLOWN MY EXPECTATIONS OUT OF ROOF!!! like i don’t usually read fantasy and have only recently opened myself up to sci-fi but this is just so so so good. i also love how it’s CHINESE CHARACTERS!!! i’ve literally never read a book with a full chinese cast, let alone one inspired by chinese history. also love xiran’s videos they’re such an icon <333
