Also, there was literally no point in Tall Andras AT ALL and yet I read soooo much about him. This book is going so terribly I half expect to find out everyone has a "gift" because they're Divergent and they're part of the experiments to fix people's modified genes.

It's so bad, you guys. We get like 50 pages about Claire's training and climbing the stupid cliff in incredible detail, but we're just gonna gloss over how some people arbitrarily have "gifts" and the Trademaster - who is maybe the Devil? But who really knows - can magically make someone age 50 years in an instant. Just roll with it. :/
